Make-A-Scene by Meta allows users to turn ideas and sketches into digital art – based

Posted on July 24, 2022

Meta, a group that owns Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other products and services aimed at helping communities and businesses do more together through technology and immersive experiences, Make- Introduced A-Scene.

Meta’s Make-A-Scene allows users to turn ideas and sketches into digital art.

Make-A-Scene is an artificial intelligence-based research tool that uses sketches and text to generate digital images and illustrations.

The Make-A-Scene system uses text prompts and input drawings to create new visual interpretations.

Stimulate the creativity of small business users

Creativity is critical in today’s highly competitive global business environment. The importance and sophistication of artificial intelligence (AI) simplifies the creative process. AI technology allows businesses to create new creative assets and efficiently and massively modify existing assets.

Many small business users use automated software to improve the visual appeal of images and provide more accessible visual resources, such as cropping images, framing subjects, and generating better image descriptions. Create.

Text-to-image generation

Text-to-image generation is an algorithmic process currently sought after to enable the creation of procedural art created from the imagination of humans and computers.

After Google Image Search and Craiyon’s OpenAI, Meta has developed its own AI image generation engine.

Make-A-Scene believes that AI systems are not enough to simply generate content, allowing users to create an immersive world in the Metaverse and create high-quality digital art. It takes advantage of the potential to stimulate creative expression.

When describing the new AI tool as “empowering,” Meta said:

“Make-A-Scene allows users to create images using text prompts and free-form sketches. Previous imaging AI systems used text descriptions as input, but the results It can be difficult to predict. For example, if you enter the text “Picture of a horse riding a bicycle”, it may not be reflected as you imagined. The bike may turn sideways and the zebras may be too large or too small.

“In Make-A-Scene, this is no longer the case. Simple texts and pictures show how to convey your vision more concretely with different elements.

Meta can combine user-created sketches with text-based image generation using an “AI exploratory research concept,” also known as Make-A-Scene. You can also determine the overall composition of the image.

To further develop the technology, Meta shared the Make-A-Scene demo with some notable artists. After using this tool, AI artist Sophia Crespo said she realized that she could quickly create new ideas using the free-form drawing capabilities.

“As a visual artist, you may want to manually create a basic composition and tell a story that’s eye-catching, which makes it possible,” Crespo said.

The Make-A-Scene app is not yet open to the public.
